The sport theme based film 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu' is through censor and has been certified a clean U. Featuring a group of debutant cast and crew, the makers have thrived to bring a genuine cinema. Starring Vishnu and Saranya Mohan in the lead cast, Susindhran has directed the film. Music has been composed by first timer Selvaganesh which is already topping the charts.
The rural game 'Kabadi', the centrifugal point for a group of youngsters and the emotional traits between them form the crux. The team is compromised of an all new cast of actors who represent the rural milieu in its distinct elements. Sans any commercialism, it's a movie which will have substance to entertain the masses, says director Susidhran.
Producer Anand Chakravarthy has made a step to provide quality cinema to the masses and daringly ventured backed up by the youngsters. Saranya Mohan has abundant scope to perform in the rustic role. The Kabadi Kuzhu's journey through life before reaching their goal will be bought on-screen to the audience filled with friendship, love and emotional bonds.
Lyrics are written by Na Muthukumar, Snehan, J. Francis Kiruba and Karthiknetha and J. Laxman Kumar handle the cinematography. G C Anandan has also worked for the film as an art director.

Slumdog's - Hidden Truth Unravelled
Of course, everyone of us got stuck in shock to see the young Jamal jumping into drainage-like-pit to catch a glimpse on Big B... Here's our British Filmmaker unravelling the secrets of filming this portion.
What we see in the film is an actual shithole, but what the crew did was place a round tank into the shithole and fill the tank with peanut butter and chocolate, so that the kid actually would taste sweet if we licked him.
But on screen it took a totally different perception!
In the words of the director it is quite amazing what people's imagination can do. Maybe that is one of the reasons that scene created a very disgusting effect. When asked if the child artist was ok in doing the scene the director is all praise for the kid, who was actually cool about doing the shot.
Danny Boyle loves to be with kids because of the energy he gets while being around them. It is really contagious.

Tamanna raves about the star bros
Tamanna is happy that her recent release 'Padikathavan' has earned her very good name. The thrilled actress says, 'watching my movie with audience in theatre was a delight. People enjoyed every moment of it'.
The actress, who replaced Nayantara in Lingusamy's 'Paiya', is awaiting the release of her next 'Ayan'. 'It's a big movie for me. I act opposite my favorite Suriya, whom I have admired a lot. Being part of his movie was a great experience'.
She promises that the movie (Ayan) would be different as it would have all commercial elements to entertain the masses.
'Working with senior artistes like Dhanush and Suriya is always a win-win situation. You get to learn a lot and strive to give your best', she said.
On 'Paiya', she says, 'it is again a movie to reckon with in my career. I saw 'Paruthiveeran' and was immediately impressed with Karthi. He is a bundle of energy. He has an expressive eyes and I am eager to work with him'.
